April 16, 2025 – June 4, 2025

The Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is an exciting way to learn about policework. Through a well-prepared curriculum, held once a week for 8 weeks, participants will learn about the various aspects of police operations. These topics and activities include Motor Vehicle & Juvenile Law, Animal Control, a Ride-Along with an Officer, a K-9 Demonstration, and so much more!

The Citizens Police Academy is also an excellent way for community members to become better informed about crime and public safety. Academy participants will meet many of the men and women who serve the Brockton Police Department, which will allow our Officers and our citizens to develop positive and informative interactions. It is our goal that the City of Brockton residents, and other community stakeholders, will develop along-lasting working relationship with our Police Department members. This in turn will help the Brockton Police Department gain new insight into the needs and concerns of the community we serve.
