Building History

The old station was on the corner of East Elm St and VFW parkway in the area of what is now the amphitheater at city hall.

This is a photo from the early 1900's of the New York, New Haven and Hartford, Brockton Train Station looking North West from Centre St. @ Commercial St. This is the current home of the Brockton Police Station.

This image is from an old postcard, post marked August 1905. The view is of the South Bound Brockton Train Station from Montello St @ Centre St looking North East. This is the current home of Dunkin Donuts, D'Angelo's and North End Motors.

The North Bound Train Station is under construction in the right of this picture, to the left is East Railroad Ave which has since disappeared under new buildings. Located there now is City Glass and the Department of Transitional Assistance.
